63 Eckerd Student-Athletes Named to SSC Commissioner's Spring 2011 Honor Roll

More than half of the Eckerd College student-athletes who competed athletically during Spring 2011 semester were recently named to the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Commissioner's Honor Roll. Sixty-three of the spring sport Triton student-athletes from men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, baseball, and softball attained a GPA of 3.2 or higher during the 2011 spring semester. The Tritons led the SSC Honor Roll in baseball and women's tennis.

To be eligible for the Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll, a student-athlete must post a minimum grade point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00. The SSC honored 672 student-athletes overall, with more than 100 achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA.
